It is my great honor and pleasure to be General Secretary of the Glaucoma Society of Nepal. I extend my heartfelt appreciation to the past leadership, senior mentors, and all members of Glaucoma Society Of Nepal for their unwavering dedication in advancing glaucoma services in Nepal. Your contributions have laid a strong foundation for innovation, education, and excellence in our field.

As we embark on this new chapter, I am committed to fostering a collaborative environment that encourages research, skill enhancement, and international partnerships. Our focus will be on strengthening academic initiatives, organizing CMEs, webinars, hands-on workshops, and ensuring that the latest advancements in Glaucoma surgery reach every corner of Nepal. Glaucoma Society of Nepal will continue to support young surgeons and provide platforms for professional growth through mentorship, conferences, and scientific discussions.

I urge all members to actively participate in all Glaucoma activities, contribute to research, and help shape the future of glaucoma surgery in Nepal. Together, we will strengthen our society, enhance patient care, and uphold the highest standards of surgical excellence.
